How Body Buddies Custom Coaching Works:

We seek to help you learn correct scientific principles of nutrition and fitness, master the skill of becoming a goal-setter, and provide you the accountability you need to follow through on your goals.

Hi, I'm Rachel Larsen and have had a passion for fitness and nutrition all of my life. I come from a family that gardened all of their vegetables. I also grew up competing in gymnastics which later translated into high school and college cheerleading. I have certified in Spin, Yoga, Zumba and Kickboxing and after teaching these classes at the U for 2.5, I realized my true passion lies in lifting and helping others create aesthetics and health in their bodies! I absolutely love to cook and you better believe everything I make and eat is super yummy! 

 

I have been given the name "Nerdy Rach" and "The Energizer Bunny" by all who know me because I love science, learning, reading and have tons of energy! Science is where my true passion lies. I am graduating this May (2015) with a bachelor's degree from the University of Utah in the Exercise Science program with an emphasis in Fitness & Wellness. 

 

My motto is "mind, body, spirit" and I believe all of these play a role into our success in health and life. I promise as your coach to be your number one cheerleader, educator, motivator and inspirer!  I believe in you and the changes you can make. I am merely your tool in the tool box. Hi, I'm Brittney Crump and I love learning and studying about health and fitness. I have an incredible addiction for Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and Café Rio.

 

I grew up competing in soccer at various levels and this sport became my true passion in life. The game soon led me to BYU-Hawaii to compete on the collegiate level, where I also received my bachelor's degree in Exercise Sport Science with an emphasis on Fitness and Wellness in 2014.

 

I have always loved sport-specific training and conditioning. However, my enthusiasm and passion for lifting and changing the body aesthetically grew tremendously soon after I graduated while prepping for my first bodybuilding competitions. I came to love the science behind how we can shape the body. The body amazes me at what it is 

capable of, and I am ecstatic to help you discover and develop your highest capabilities!

Coach Kyshel Belnap

Hey y’all, I’m Kyshel Belnap and I have a zealousness for health and fitness.

 

I’m a combination of being energetic, happy, genuine, and goofy. If I could own every cat in the world, I would. I wish I could travel and explore every part of this beautiful world. I am obsessed with music and seeing my favorite bands in concert. My guilty pleasure is a nice, warm, cheesy pizza.

 

I am a half-marathon runner turned weight lifter. I graduated from UVU with my Bachelors in Exercise Science and am intrigued with how the body functions. It’s amazing to see how fueling the body correctly can greatly impact our lives. I’ve seen the transformation in my own life and I’m here to help you see that change for yourself.  

 

Coach Janel Nay

Hi Body Buddies! I’m Janel Nay, I live in Ogden, UT, but I belong in the heat. If I could live anywhere it would be a location that reached 100 plus degrees year round. I am passionate about life and setting new goals.  Chocolate covered cinnamon bears are my weakness. I have an obsession with making natural soaps and watching makeup tutorials (even though I only apply it once a week).  

 

When I met my husband in 2010, he got me hooked on mountain biking and watching the Red Sox.  My family is everything to me. I have three energetic kids who are my number one motivators. 

 

As your coach, I want to help you take control of your mental discipline towards maintaining a healthy lifestyle.  Set goals and be patient. Motivation is what gets you started; habit is what keeps you going.

Let’s get Fit! Now’s the time to put your fears behind you and climb those mountains!  The principles taught at Body Buddies will put you on track to accomplish your goals. It is a mental, emotional, physical journey that I am here to coach you through.  

 

I am an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer and have loved helping people reach their goals in health and fitness. Athletics and Fitness have always been a passion of mine, I just never had all the pieces of the puzzle to truly utilize and unlock my body’s potential. I found all those pieces through Body Buddies. I was able to lose 50 lbs. following the Power Foods Lifestyle and Body Buddies coaching Methods and compete in my first Figure Competition. Even as a mom of 5 boys, I have been able to change my body like never before. Time and again I’m reminded of the positive effects exercise has on my own physical and psychological well being, and my appreciation for what our bodies and mind can achieve is ever increasing.

 

As a Body Buddies Coach I want to share my enthusiasm, encourage a happier lifestyle and help you realize what your body is capable of. I believe that with strategic nutrition and exercise, your commitment, and the right support, anyone can achieve their goals.

Coach Lynette Thiriot

Hi! I'm Emily Gremillion. There's nothing that I have found more passion and love for than living, breathing, and sharing what I have learned over the years in my fitness journey!

 

I grew up trying out various sports, while also pursuing my talents in both art and music. I studied social work, human development, and art therapy in college. It wasn't until I began working at a gym years and years ago that I found what my true passion was....lifting and the science behind the body and nutrition. This lead me to begin seeking out the knowledge of trainers, nutritionists, and studying anything I could to expand upon my knowledge.

 

My competitive spirit and drive pushed me to compete in my first bodybuilding competition. I never dreamt I could push my body to the limits I have been able to, and I am just getting started! I now live a life where I love boxing, biking, and hiking, but only running when someone is chasing me!

 

I love showing both women and men what they are capable of doing. The skills and mindset I will coach you on will not only apply to the gym, but to life. I want to empower woman to lift heavy, go hard, and realize that it is ok to be a strong woman!! I truly believe that whatever goal you have, you can and will achieve! Don’t' let fear stop you in pursuing your dreams, use it as fuel to keep you moving.

Since becoming part of the Body Buddies family, I have learned more from Kristy Jo and the Power Foods Lifestyle than I have in my entire history of nutrition classes, hired personal trainers, and self-guided navigation of the fitness industry. Trust me when I tell you that the tools from the Power Foods Lifestyle will provide you with everything you need to make the changes in your body and lifestyle you’ve been trying to achieve for years. 

 

My background is in ballet and various forms of dance, which I studied at Utah Valley University.  My passion for self expression and performance is what led me to Kristy for coaching to compete in my first Bodybuilding competition in the Bikini division. She led me through the challenges of prepping for a show and I found that I could trust the principles of PFL to get me there safely and ready to rock my bikini!

 

Now as a certified Body Buddies Coach and NASM personal trainer, I want to help give you the tools you need to facilitate the changes you want to see. Whether it’s putting on muscle, losing body fat, or improving performance, I want to help you achieve your goals and make you proud of yourself!
