Kids in the Kitchen

Dear Body Buds,

I absolutely love hearing about the impacts on children when their parents change their eating habits. This next generation is in a situation where they can be influenced for good, or they can be swayed by the ease and convenience of "food" that, arguably, isn't really food at all!

Seeking to help children feel responsibile for the food they put in their body is a great way to have a good influence on them. One Body Buddies client had her children choose which of the Power Foods ingredients she wanted to put in her soup. This darling little girl chose her desired foods, made her soup, and ate it all week for meals until it was gone. She felt the personal responsibility behind what she had made.

Give a child a choice, ownership, and responsibility, and watch how they step up to the plate.

Let's keep these kids learning and making wise choices through us adults paving the way!

Love your bud,

Kristy Jo
