Eliminate the Low Back Pain!

Dear Body Buds,

This was an important post I made on Instagram that I didn't want to get lost in the archives. So for those of you not on that social media platform, here you go!

"Alright BodyBuddies... We all have aches and pains and I'm here to say STOP PUSHING THROUGH THE BAD PAIN. 🙏 Your body is telling you something so stop going #beastmode and#listentoyourbody.

With my 40-degree scoliosisnearly 75% of my training lifts are NOT THE NORM. I have to drop weight by 70% to film all my YouTube demos I have that are "regular lifts" (just an FYI). So when you tell me you can't train because you hurt too badly, I would say DON'T "suck it up," 🚫but let's talk #strategy.

Trust me, I have enough chronicpain to be on all sorts of meds and "cry-me-a-rivers." But I don't cry self-pity tears and, instead, choose to think differently. Life. Is. About. Our. Attitude‼️

Next time you're #training with #pain, here is a tip: For any exercise that hinges forward, putting pressure and pain on your #lowback, DO NOT HINGE! Instead, find an incline bench like I'm doing here to keep that #back in Nuetral. I am squeezing the bench with my legs to keep it from tipping forward which, GASP, works more muscles (Holla--work dat #booty!)...

SAME MOVEMENT. SAME#MUSCLES HIT. NOPAIN.

Get after it, Buds, and make it a beautiful day!"
