Michelle Fox loses 18 pounds by following the Power Foods Lifestyle!

Hi! I am Michelle Fox.

I am 25 and a working mother of 2 girls, ages 4 and 2. I gained 45 pounds with each pregnancy and had a really hard losing the weight after the second. I struggled with taking care of 2 little ones and taking care of myself. I had done a few crazy exercise programs and used fat loss pills. They all helped until I quit doing them. It was a permanent solution. The weight would always come right back.

In February 2013, when my second was almost 2, I decided I was sick of feeling depressed and lazy and was going to finally take charge. Before I got pregnant the first time I had obsessively worked out 6 days a week, sometimes for 2 hours a day. I would count calories and not allow myself to eat more than 1,500 calories a day. I knew that this was not the way to do it. I swore I would not do that again, and I didn't even though it was tempting.

I started hitting the gym a few days a week. I slowly started working on making healthier food choices. I would have a fruit and veggie smoothie in the morning, a big salad for lunch, and a portion controlled meal for dinner. I was doing alright, but I wasn't feeling that great.I had lost about 12 pounds by June when I came across Body Buddies on Facebook.

I was feeling a little discouraged at this point and was thinking about giving up. I was looking for something new or some kind of encouragement. I started looking into the Power Foods Lifestyle and realized this was something I could really do and stick with. I started on it within a week. Within the first month, I had already lost 4 pounds and was feeling amazing! I had tons of energy, and even though I still had more weight to lose, I wasn't feeling quite as fluffy. It was not easy at first being a working mom and all, but I made it work. It was fun trying new recipes and challenging myself to make better choices--ones that I knew would help me get closer to my goals.

I finally contacted Kristy in July and told her about the success that I've had so far and how thankful I am to have found her website. She has been a huge ball of guidance and encouragement since then. She is always there to answer questions and has a wealth of information on fitness and nutrition. I have been following fairly close to the Power Foods Lifestyle since June, with the exception of the holidays, and I feel so great when I stick to the food that I know will give me the right kind of fuel for my body.

Kristy has also encouraged me to workout 4-6 days a week. I do weight lifting and 15-30 minutes of cardio a day. I feel amazing! I have lost a total of 18 pounds since February. I have gained so much muscle and confidence and energy. I know I have some more training to do, but I love it! I am excited to see what the next 6 months has in store for me. I am excited to keep learning and changing my body one meal at a time.
