Emily feels energized and falls in love with fitness again!

Dear Body Buds,

I am so excited to share with you all Emily's experience about her Body Buddies training! I am SO proud of her and all she has accomplished! She lost a total of 5 pounds and 12 inches over the course of three months! But more than that, check out what changed in her MIND and her LIFE . .. read on :)

How have you grown and changed through the process of your training?

"This process has changed me a lot. I have struggled with night eating, eating when I am not hungry, and eating because I am bored. Although I still do occasionally do night eating, I can stop myself!

I also have fallen back in love with fitness. For about a year I stopped and it took a while to get back to where I was but I have and I feel great! I have made a commitment to get back on track and thanks to your amazing coaching I have found the light :-)

Not only has this experience helped me lose weight, gain fitness and more energy, but I feel like I have turned around my life and am finally back to the happy Emily that I used to know. I have found a new direction in my profession and am working hard to become a real estate agent and I feel energized and I know that the change in my mindset that this process helped me gain has allowed me to start this new direction."

What was the most important principle you learned?

"The most important principle that I learned is that its not all-or-nothing, and that eating healthy and being fit is a lifestyle that should always be maintained--not just something used to lose weight.

I have also learned that I am capable of so much more than I thought I was. I have accomplished some amazing things this year and I can see that now, and I am so motivated moving forward.

I have learned to set goals and work towards achieving those goals. I have made a commitment to myself to be fit and even yesterday when I didn't want to go to the gym I told myself that I was not going to fail on the commitments I made to myself, I was going to fulfill those commitments so I went and remembered why I loved going in the first place!"

What would you do differently if you could start over from Day One?

"Honestly I wouldn't do anything differently. Every struggle on this journey made the successes that much sweeter. I guess if I had to say one thing I would have kept off the scale, but even at that, I learned that its not about the scale. Every mistake is an opportunity to learn and I have learned a lot on this journey!"

What piece of advice would you give to someone who was just beginning their training?

"DON'T GIVE UP and its not about the scale! The weight may come off slowly, but you are getting fit and stronger. Focus on how much more you can lift, how much faster you can run, and how much more energy you have. A number on the scale is irrelevant."

What suggestions or feedback to you have in order to continue improving the Body Buddies program?

"Honestly, you are a rock star! I love your program!! I wish I could tell you something to improve on but I can't think of anything. You have been responsive, motivational, and best of all genuine and caring.

I can feel that you cared about me and what I was doing and that was the most important thing. If you can keep doing what you are doing you will be unstoppable! I know you have changed so many lives including my own."

Congratulations to Emily! I absolutely love seeing people like her go through this journey and gain the empowering discipline that not only changes their body, but changes their LIFE! Way to go, Emily! I know you will continue onward!
